I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
